Based on Karen Choi’s sly parrot photo, “Side Eye” is all feathers, attitude, and suspicion-like he knows something you don’t. Built with turned-edge appliqué, it layers 200+ hand-cut pieces, every edge folded and stitched with precision. No paint, no shortcuts, just fabric doing the heavy lifting.

Each feather flashes a different green, jade, lime, olive, pine, with bursts of wild prints, blues, and a silk scrap beak that steals the show. Want a parrot without the cracker demands or cage cleaning? This one just stares you down, judgment included.
